The Global Intelligence Forum is an international assembly of leading intelligence practitioners from many disciplines, including national security, law enforcement, business, technology and education, dedicated to capturing best practices and producing innovative strategies for addressing the world’s intelligence challenges.

2011 THEME:
The theme this year is Intelligence and the Decision Maker, which focuses on the intelligence needs of leaders in the public and private sectors as they navigate a world of increasing globalization.

Forum draws visitors from 12 nations

Mercyhurst College successfully hosted its second Global Intelligence Forum: The Dungarvan Conference under the theme of "Intelligence and the Decision Maker" from July 11-13, 2011.

AP Interview: Ex-CIA chief on al-Qaida after Osama

Hayden was the main speaker Monday at an annual forum organized by the Mercyhurst College Institute for Intelligence Studies of Erie, Pennsylvania. During the interview he said the West was better off with Osama bin Laden dead than in custody — even though a living bin Laden represented a potential gold mine of intelligence.
