ABOUT THE FORUM
As one of the U.S.’ thought leaders on intelligence analysis, and an innovative research institution on intelligence analysis best practices, Mercyhurst College has embarked on a number of outreach initiatives to capture best practices in the intelligence community. Toward that end, Mercyhurst hosts an annual forum in Dungarvan, Ireland, focusing on key intelligence issues from a global perspective.
2011 Theme The theme this year is Intelligence and the Decision Maker, which focuses on the intelligence needs of leaders in the public and private sectors as they navigate a world of increasing globalization. Enrollment is limited.

All registrations are individually reviewed and subject to approval by Mercyhurst College Institute for Intelligence Studies (MCIIS).
The fees outlined above are inclusive of Global Intelligence Forum documentation, speaker-provided materials, luncheons, breaks and receptions as indicated on the forum agenda. Admission to excursions is not included in the forum fee. Payment is due at the time of registration using the online form and may be made by American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover. ATTIRE
Dress at the Global Intelligence Forum is business casual attire unless otherwise indicated on the agenda. Forum name badges must be worn at all times throughout the event in order to gain admission to all sessions, meals and functions.
PRESS POLICY
Members of the press or media wishing to attend the Global Intelligence Forum as a participant must request advance approval by contacting Deborah Morton, dmorton@mercyhurst.edu +1 814 490 6569 prior to completing the online registration form.
Upon arrival at the forum, all media will be required to certify that they are attending as a member of the press or media. Those members of the media attending as a participant, not as a member of the media, will be required to certify they are not attending as a member of the press nor will they disseminate any of the content discussed or presented during the conference via any media form (including, but not limited to, print/electronic newspapers/journals/blogs/forums) without the expressed prior approval of the Mercyhurst College Institute for Intelligence Studies.
All attendees will be required to submit a business card and may be asked to present photographic identification upon arrival to the forum.
DELEGATE CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFER
Registration cancellation requests received in writing on or prior to June 10, 2011, will qualify for a refund, less a 15% administration fee. No refund will be given on cancellation requests received after this date. Should the original delegate be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge; in this case, please contact Michelle Henderson to update the participant registration details. Any cancellation or substitution requests should be made to Michelle Henderson at +1.814.824.2131 or mhenderson@mercyhurst.edu.
EVENT CANCELLATIONS
In the unlikely event of the forum cancellation for any reason, neither MCIIS, its affiliated entities, nor its employees, accepts responsibility for travel and/or accommodation costs or consequential losses incurred by prospective delegates as a result of any such cancellation. MCIIS recommends that prospective delegates arrange appropriate insurance coverage.
PRIVACY POLICY
The information you provide during forum registration will be safeguarded by sponsor firm MCIIS, which may use it to keep you informed of relevant products and services. A list of 2011 Global Intelligence Forum participant names/member firms will also be disseminated via a secure website following the conference. You will be given the opportunity to opt out of participation in this list, in full or in part, when completing the online registration form. MCIIS does not share any nonpublic personal information with any nonaffiliated third parties, except in the following circumstances: (1) disclosure to companies that provide services necessary to effect a transaction that you request or to service your account; and (2) disclosure to government agencies, courts, parties to lawsuits, or regulators in response to subpoenas. In such cases, MCIIS will share only the information that it is required or authorized to share.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the prospective delegate hereby consents to be a part of photographs, videos or other recordings taken at the Global Intelligence Forum and authorizes the use and reproduction of such by MCIIS or any other person authorized by MCIIS. All such photographs, videos or other recordings, including any and all intellectual property in connection therewith, shall be the sole property of MCIIS. To the extent such ownership rights vest in you by operation of law or otherwise, the prospective delegate hereby assigns all right title and interest in such intellectual property to MCIIS. The prospective delegate hereby expressly releases MCIIS, and its assigns, agents and employees from all privacy, defamation or other claims, demands and liabilities whatsoever in connection with the use of any of the above.
SHIPPING POLICY
The Global Intelligence Forum registration is electronic only; no items will ship in hard copy via mail or postal service. After completing registration online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a summary of your registration details, which we recommend you retain for your own records. No tickets are needed for event entry; registered delegate names will be checked against an attendee list upon arrival at the forum.
MEDIA AND PRESS
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the prospective delegate hereby certifies that you are not attending the Global Intelligence Forum as a member of the press or media, nor will the prospective delegate disseminate any of the content discussed or presented from therein via any media form (including, but not limited to, print/electronic/ newspapers/journals/blogs/ forums) without the express prior approval of MCIIS. All attendees will be required to submit a business card and may be asked to present photographic identification upon arrival to the Global Intelligence Forum. Failure to comply may be grounds for immediate expulsion from the event without compensation.
