Liam Fahey

Liam Fahey is co-founder and executive director of Leadership Forum, Inc. He serves as Professor of Management Practice at Babson College. His academic research, organization consulting and executive teaching focus on the creation and use of “marketplace intelligence”: developing superior understanding of the competitive present and future to shape and inspire more informed and incisive decision making. In 2004, he established the Intelligence Leadership Forum to enable peer-to-peer dialogue among senior corporate intelligence professionals. He is the author or editor of eight books and over fifty articles or book chapters. He has consulted with and/or conducted executive education programs for manufacturing, service, and not for profit organizations around the world and contributed to executive development programs in more than a dozen universities. He has received a number of awards for his research, teaching, and professional activity including the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals’ highest honor, the Meritorious Award for Distinguished Service. Previously, he taught at Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and at Boston University. He holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh and M.B.S. and B. Comm. degrees from University College Dublin, Ireland. |
